| "The Trojan Women" - Actors Bridge Ensemble - Neuhoff Site.
This production was by all means a unique, environmental adaptation of the
Euphratis classic.
Set in a timeless scenario, the play was produced in an old slaughterhouse
just North
of Nashville. The room had no facilities, and very much resembled a
bombed-out
power plant. Broken pipes hung precariously overhead, and large concrete
mounts
protruded from the floor. The audience was immersed in a windowed space that
felt
very much like a war-torn prison, with most of the lighting taking place
outside
the facility in the form of explosive special effects.
